Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey, appointed by the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each area. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.

The main focus of the Register is on improving and maintaining gas safety to the highest standards. They make sure all gas engineers on the Register, over 125,000, are qualified to work with gas.

Gas Safe work to protect the public from unsafe gas work through;

  • A dedicated national investigations team tracking down individuals working illegally
  • Regular inspections of Gas Safe registered engineers
  • Educating consumers and raising awareness of gas safety
  • Investigating reports of unsafe gas work

The NICEIC Approved Contractor scheme is approved by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) and is an industry-leading standard and tells you to expect the highest level of skills and service.

Activate Energy design, install, inspect and test all our electrical work in accordance with the UK standard, BS 7671 as amended and will issue safety certificates on completion of your electrical work.

Activate Energy are additionally accredited by the NICEIC as Domestic Installers which means we can self certify our work under Part-P of the Building Regulations England & Wales.

Activate Energy Ltd have been robustly inspected and certified against the installation requirements of PAS 2013:2012.   This means we are eligible to undertake work which forms part of the ECO and Green Deal funding mechanisms.

We are are able to provide the following installation services under PAS 2030:2012:

  • Gas-fired condensing boilers
  • Heating controls (for wet central heating system and warm air system)
  • Hot water controls (including timers and temperature control)
  • Hot water cylinder insulation
  • Lighting systems, fittings and controls (including rooflights, lamps and luminaires)
  • Cylinder thermostats
  • Lighting systems, fittings and controls (including rooflights, lamps and luminaires)
  • Pipe-work insulation

Activate Energy Ltd are approved and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to broker finance against home improvement projects, for example replacement central heating boilers and full central heating systems.

Activate Energy Ltd offer finance from a single lender and do not provide third party finance and any finance arrangements will be for Activate Energy’s customers only.
